The open source model has fundamentally changed the way software is developed, used, and supported. At Optaros, we believe that "assembling" solutions from components (primarily open source and web services ) provides better solutions to our customers than buying monolithic enterprise software, building from scatch, or renting undifferentiated software. Open source enables this by providing software components that are easy to integrate, inexpensive to acquire, and flexible to customize.

We have identified and partnered with some of the best open source projects and companies which helps us deliver better solutions to our clients. When we look for open source components, we look for vibrant, growing communities with a strong core of developers and solutions that are supported the way enterprises expect.



The collaborative development model of open source enables us and our customers to participate in the advancement of the components used in a solution.
